In 2026-27, the most the NDIS lets a provider charge for house cleaning is $60.10 an hour. Clean Nation charges from $57, so a weekly 2-hour clean costs $6.20 less each week than the limit. Over a year, that leaves about $322 more in your plan.
Which NDIS item is cleaning claimed under?
House cleaning is claimed under item 01_020_0120_1_1, House Cleaning and Other Household Activities. The money comes from your Core Supports budget, under Assistance with Daily Life.
What does NDIS cleaning not cover?
It does not usually pay for cleaning products, pool cleaning or bond cleaning when you move out. Gardening uses a different NDIS item. In a shared home, the NDIS may only pay for your own space if others in the house can help.
What if I need to change my cleaning day?
